About The Position
The Primavera P6 Scheduler / Planner is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing detailed project schedules to support successful project execution. This role ensures accurate progress tracking, critical path visibility, and effective resource planning across all phases of the project lifecycle. The Scheduler / Planner works closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Operations, and Project Controls teams to provide timely reporting and proactive risk mitigation across all Bo-Mac divisions.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge and hands-on experience with Oracle Primavera P6.
- Previous experience in project controls, construction scheduling, or a related engineering/technical field.
- Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling principles.
- Ability to analyze complex data, understand scheduling logic, and identify risks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly present schedule status, risks, and recommendations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced construction environment.

- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent project experience may be considered.
Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and maintain detailed, resource-loaded project schedules, including baseline, target, and actual schedules.
- Monitor daily and weekly progress and update schedules with actual performance data.
- Prepare and distribute schedule status reports to project stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Perform Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis to identify schedule drivers, bottlenecks, and potential risks.
- Provide recommendations to mitigate delays and improve overall schedule performance.
- Support change management by performing schedule impact analyses and time extension evaluations.
- Allocate and optimize project resources including labor, equipment, and materials to support efficient execution.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Operations, and Accounting to ensure schedule alignment with budgets and forecasting.
- Assist in developing recovery schedules when project performance deviates from plan.
- Maintain schedule documentation and ensure consistency with company project controls standards.
