About The Position

Primary JTAC-Instruction/Site Leadership: The Site Lead shall be designated as the contractor’s point of contact for all prime and subcontractor staff associated with this effort. The Site Lead shall ensure compliance with PWS and unit Operating Instructions (OI) and shall maintain a current listing, by location, of all contracted staff performing PWS functions, including training, duty status, leave, and dates of employment, to be included with the monthly summary report. Assists the AFSOC JTAC PM at AFSOC HQ Hurlburt Field, FL, with oversight of the AFSOC JTAC training, standards, and evaluations programs. Conduct records reviews, unit SAVs, evaluate unit JTAC instruction procedures, and unit JTAC evaluation procedures. Assist with maintenance oversight, upgrades, and changes to the SRMS. Advise and assist the US SOCOM/J33 Fires LNO and SOCOM Component PMs on all matters pertaining to JTACs and CAS. Advise and assist all subordinate squadrons on all issues pertaining to Contract CAS. Perform JTAC, JTAC-Instructor, JTAC-Evaluator duties. Review and track contractor travel requests (LOIs) prior to submission to COR for validation and submission to the contracting officer for approval. Provide amendments/updates as required to any previously approved travel. Prepares Monthly Status Report deliverables as required by the government.

Requirements

  • Current qualification IAW the USSOCOM 350-5, Appendix C, D, E, and F for JTAC-Evaluator (JTAC-E).
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Meet or exceed the security requirements outlined in DD-254 for the supported site and shall be required to access Focal Point material, including electronic accounts and media.
  • Must have or have held a JTAC-I qualification rating and demonstrate a working knowledge of the organizational interface of military, local, state, and federal agencies applicable to supported JTAC functions and operations.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of U.S. military command and control structures.
  • Possess a valid civilian driver’s license and qualify for a military driver’s license for all supported equipment and vehicles.
  • Demonstrate land navigation/map and compass skills sufficient to read and locate points of interest and targets, etc., using latitude, longitude, and Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) coordinates.
  • Must pass an initial drug screening and submit drug testing results as required by the Government within 30 days of notification of acceptance for work on this contract.
  • Staff shall be subject to subsequent random drug testing after award at the Government’s expense.
  • Ensure all contractor staff are medically qualified and can lift upto a 60-pound box.
  • Maintain a medical evaluation form (physical) indicating that each staff member meets the following guidelines.
