About the position

The Primary duty is to build complete financial relationships with both existing and new customers by providing prompt, efficient, courteous, professional, and personalized service. This includes providing direct and immediate response to customers' requests and needs, controlling the flow of customers by directing them to the proper source/professional who can meet their needs, and having in-depth conversations with every customer interaction, both in person and by phone, utilizing C.A.R.E and Advancing Language. The role also involves building relationships by cross-selling appropriate bank services to meet customers' needs.

Responsibilities

  • Execute financial transactions including deposits and withdrawals to personal and commercial checking and savings accounts and complete all other types of account transactions in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Handle and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Issue Money Orders, Treasurers' Checks, Gift and Prepaid cards, Credit Card Cash Advances.
  • Process Night Depository, Mail Deposits and Commercial Deposits.
  • Receive and process all types of loan payments, and utility payments.
  • Scan daily transactions, balance ATM, provide Safe Deposit Box access, balance vault, batch Cash Advance Machine.
  • Count, verify and post cash shipments via armored car.
  • Provide basic customer service requests such as Stop Payments, wire transfers, research requests, answer customers' technical questions.
  • Balance assigned daily cash and maintain assigned cash limits.
  • Meet and exceed monthly referral goals by having quality conversations and identifying opportunities to promote the right financial products and services to meet our customers' needs.
  • Assist branch manager to ensure the Relationship Center is meeting the established growth and sales objectives.
  • Strict adherence to security procedures, Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, and safeguarding customer information.
  • Assist in maintaining overall professional appearance and cleanliness of the Branch.
  • Actively participate in Relationship Centers' One Year Plan and long-term goals and objectives, coaching sessions, and team meetings.
  • Attend annual meeting to develop departmental goals.
  • Attend Career Path Meetings with Supervisor.
  • Actively participate in monthly Employee Relations Meetings to discuss and evaluate progress on meeting goals and objectives.
  • Participate in daily 5-minute meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed.
