About the position

The Primary duty is to build complete financial relationships with both existing and new customers by providing prompt, efficient, courteous, professional, and personalized service. This includes providing direct and immediate response to customers' requests and needs, controlling the flow of customers by directing them to the proper source/professional who can meet their needs, and having in-depth conversations with every customer interaction, both in person and by phone, utilizing C.A.R.E and Advancing Language. The role also involves building relationships by cross-selling appropriate bank services to meet customers' needs. Additionally, the position requires providing high quality and confidential customer service in various activities such as executing financial transactions, handling customer inquiries, issuing financial instruments, processing deposits, and maintaining cash balances. The employee is expected to meet and exceed monthly referral goals, assist the branch manager in achieving growth and sales objectives, and adhere to security procedures and regulations. Participation in team meetings and maintaining the professional appearance of the branch are also key responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct and immediate response to customers' requests and needs.
  • Controls flow of customers by directing them to proper source/professional who can meet their needs.
  • Engages in in-depth conversations with customers, utilizing C.A.R.E and Advancing Language.
  • Builds relationships by cross-selling appropriate bank services.
  • Executes financial transactions including deposits and withdrawals.
  • Handles and responds to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Issues Money Orders, Treasurers' Checks, Gift and Prepaid cards, Credit Card Cash Advances.
  • Processes Night Depository, Mail Deposits, and Commercial Deposits.
  • Receives and processes all types of loan payments and utility payments.
  • Scans daily transactions, balances ATM, provides Safe Deposit Box access, balances vault, batches Cash Advance Machine.
  • Counts, verifies, and posts cash shipments via armored car.
  • Provides basic customer service requests such as Stop Payments, wire transfers, and research requests.
  • Maintains knowledge of products, services, and Electronic Banking services.
  • Balances assigned daily cash and maintains assigned cash limits.
  • Meets and exceeds monthly referral goals.
  • Assists branch manager to ensure the Relationship Center meets growth and sales objectives.
  • Adheres to security procedures, Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, and safeguarding customer information.
  • Maintains overall professional appearance and cleanliness of the Branch.
  • Participates in Relationship Centers' One Year Plan and long-term goals.
  • Attends annual meetings to develop departmental goals.
  • Participates in monthly Employee Relations Meetings.
  • Participates in daily 5-minute meetings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or directed.
