About The Position
Centurion is expanding its operations in Georgia and is actively seeking a part-time Primary Care Physician to join their team at Helm's State Medical Prison in Atlanta. This role involves providing medical assessments and evaluations, treating emergent, urgent, and routine medical issues, and supervising medical treatment for chronic conditions. The Physician will also contribute to organizational initiatives aimed at preventing diseases and injuries among patients within the correctional setting. The position operates under the guidance of the Site Medical Director and/or the Statewide Medical Director, in collaboration with the Health Services Administrator (HSA), to ensure the delivery of efficient and clinically appropriate medical services.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
- Active and unrestricted MD/DO license or the ability to obtain one required
- Ability to pass credentialing and background check
