Primary Care Physician
About The Position
We are looking for a full-time relationship-centered family physician to add to our team at our near-site employer-sponsored primary care clinic in Machesney Park, IL. We have recently partnered with the Harlem Co. School District and are opening a new health center with them in Machesney Park, IL. We are seeking a 40 hour a week primary care physician to lead our new team. Selling Points:Average of 8-14 patients/dayMore time spent with patients to enhance relationships and build trustFar less time with ICD-10 coding and admin work vs traditional primary care, and admin time is built into the schedule (no need to take home your work!The opportunity to really improve patient outcomes with a finite patient panel Annual visits 60 min. Follow up visits 30 min Position Details:Patient population: Employees & Families of all agesAcute & Primary Care (focus on preventive medicine)Care Team: MD, MA & RN
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Clear & Active License in state of employment
- Board-certified in Family Medicine or both Internal Medicine & Pediatrics
- DEA Certified
- Comfortable performing well-woman exams and prescribing birth control
