Job Title: Primary Care Physician Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Thomaston, CT Service Setting: Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Jul 01, 2026 – Dec 31, 2026 Clinical Shift Schedule: M -F | 8a–430p (Potential 4 -day work week) COVERAGE DATES Jul 01, 2026 – Dec 31, 2026 PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults (18+) Patient Volume/Census: 18 – 20 patients per day Case Mix: General Primary Care FACILITY INFORMATION Office Equipment Available: Standard Outpatient Equipment Support Staff Available: Medical Assistant per provider, RN, Front Desk Staff Reason for Coverage: Provider shortage – coverage needed until permanent hire PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: No COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES Standard Primary Care Procedures JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active CT License Board: BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine DEA: Required Certifications: BLS (preferred) Experience: Prior outpatient primary care experience preferred Other Qualifications: Physician only (no APPs), no telehealth required DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide outpatient primary care services to adult patients Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff Ensure high -quality, patient -centered care
