About The Position

Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first CenterWell Senior Primary Care is now hiring for a Primary Care Physician to join our team full-time at our Fairwold Clinic in Columbia, South Carolina. This role is ideal for a compassionate, experienced clinician who excels in a collaborative, patient-centered environment and is committed to improving outcomes for adult and geriatric populations. The Physician focuses on outpatient medicine, continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention. You will keep a medical history and medical records. You will refer the patient to specialists.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 5 or more years of technical experience
• Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction
• Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university
• A Tuberculosis screening is required for all patient facing roles
• Must be willing to participate in limited on-call coverage by phone

Nice To Haves

• Prefer Internal Medicine specialty
• Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Geriatric Medicine

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive outpatient care to adult and senior patients.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Diagnose and manage moderately to complex medical conditions.
• Work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care.
• Exercise independent clinical judgment in patient management.
