About The Position

Heartline Staffing, a Strategic Talent Partner with Purple Cow Recruiting, is supporting a leading value-based primary care organization in the search for a Primary Care Physician to join their outpatient center in Washington Heights, NY. This role is designed for physicians who want to practice medicine without productivity pressure. The model prioritizes quality outcomes and preventive care over visit volume. You will practice in a single neighborhood-based center supported by a fully integrated care team that reduces administrative burden and allows focus on patient care. Dedicated support includes a Medical Scribe, Medical Assistant, and Social Worker, along with on-site lab services and specialist consultation access. This is a full-time outpatient position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Physicians typically see 13–16 patients per day. Appointment lengths are structured intentionally to allow meaningful engagement — 20-minute routine visits and 40-minute new or diagnostic evaluations. The patient population is primarily Medicare, with an emphasis on coordinated chronic disease management, proactive preventive care, and measurable quality improvement.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Active, unrestricted, non-probationary New York State medical license
  • Active DEA license
  • US work authorization required
  • Residency-trained physician (no current residents)
  • Experience practicing in an outpatient primary care setting
  • Experience utilizing Electronic Medical Records (Canopy and Greenway preferred)

Benefits

  • Base Salary: $215,000 – $245,000 plus quarterly quality-based incentive. Sign-on bonus available.
