Role: Open to Nurse Practitioners (Family, Adult/Geri APRN) and Physician Assistants (PA) Location: Cheshire, CT Setting: 100% Outpatient Primary Care - Adult Medicine (18 ) Schedule: Full-time, weekdays only! Requirements
- Licensure: Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)
- Training: APRN (Family, Adult/Geri Nurse Practitioner) or PA
- Experience: 1 years of experience in a primary care or related outpatient setting
Responsibilities
- Perform routine physical examinations
- Formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients
- Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs, e.g., referral to other health team members or specialists
- Provide appropriate treatment for problems within the scope of the provider's practice as designated by protocols
- Identifies problems outside of their scope of practice and refers appropriately to physician
