Role and Responsibilities The Opportunity Pricing and Yield management is championing data analytics and financial strategy management to ensure robustness in financial health for Samsung Ads. The leader in Pricing and Yield management will provide strategic insight and visions to ensure that Samsung makes sound strategic decisions based on analysis and critical thinking, backed up by data. This position will work cross functionally and closely with sales management to track business metrics and develop financial processes for the Smart TV Ad business. He/she will work closely across Sales, Ad Operations, Headquarters, subsidiary Finance Teams, Engineering and Product to ensure a full end-to-end financial support on all aspects of the business. This position is located in NYC and requires occasional domestic travel if needed be. We are looking for a confident individual with expertise in the analytics, inventory operation and yield management who understands the importance of delivering excellent process, rigor and assisting in the acceleration of our sales revenue. Requirements

  • 12+ years of business experience in the areas of quantitative and qualitative business analysis, including 5+ years of leadership experience in pricing, finance, yield management experience.
  • Experience with digital advertising, publisher or programmatic platform with multiple sales channels
  • Knowledge in Sales force, order management system, and/or other business analytic and reporting software such as DOMO, Tableu, Quicksight etc.
  • Experience with digital advertising platforms such as DSPs, SSPs and other relevant mediation platforms.
  • Experience in developing and leading data analysis, reports, and models to support data driven decision making process, by using internal business assumption, forecasting and external/market variable.
  • Must be task driven & have the ability to produce and hit key deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and communication skills with the ability to present complex analysis to the key stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail, ability to multitask and strong organizational skills required
  • Ability to manage and work effectively within cross-functional and matrix relationships
  • Bachelor’s degree, in Business, Finance or Accounting

Responsibilities

  • Accelerate evolution on the pricing and yield management process based on solid objectives and robust operating framework in partnership with Sales and Monetization
  • Partner with Sales to develop customized solutions that aligns with client goals while maximizing business yield and protecting financial health.
  • Implement sophisticated pricing strategies that aligns with market demand and internal supply development.
  • Collaborate cross functionally to monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry development to deliver timely insights and suggests sales strategies to statins competitive advantages
  • Develop systemic processes for managing campaigns and sales opportunities, prioritized on campaign values, prices, partnership and strategic importance.
  • Build operating framework with Sales, Ad Ops, Products and Finance to ensure alignments on business goals and execution plans.
  • Enhance data-driven decision-making processes to identify business risks and opportunities, track key performance indicators and drivers and to optimize commercial strategy
  • Partner with Headquarter and leadership team to effectively communicate for pricing and yield management rationale and policy changes to ensure alignment on strategy and execution.
  • Develop and train the teams to drive improvements in team expertise and productivities
