Essential Duties: Oversee the process of pricing and coordinating the Request for Proposals (RFPs) with appropriate Sales Team members, ensuring that pricing is thorough, and every deadline is met Oversee the process of customer spot automation bots to ensure logic and rates are being correctly submitted on spot boards Supply Procurement Souring Specialists with lanes and targets to gather rating and capacity information for contract and spot opportunities Attend regular pricing software meetings to provide feedback and manage relationships between vendors Archives all the RFPs by uploading data into the logistics management software (LMS) Vet logistics and other related software based on industry knowledge and impacts to the company Maintains digital records for each Customer Reviews contracts and communicates with our insurance company and attorney to discuss terms, works with customers on any contract revisions, maintains records of all customer contracts Assists Business Development with New Customer setup; including communication with Credit, Legal, and Operations to assure all documents and procedures are disseminated to the appropriate personnel Uploads rates for awarded lanes into LMS; assists auditors and accounting with any questions regarding rates Maintains fuel records for all Customers including setup in LMS, calculation of fuel based on Customer requirements, and resolution of small fuel cuts with Accounting and Operations departments. Updates and distributes Customer and Carrier packets including communication with attorney, insurance and upper management regarding modifications Produces monthly sales reports for management, utilizes Business Intelligence software to produce KPIs, assists Division Managers in analyzing customer data Provide reports as requested to Executive Management regarding operations and sales Assists with projects as requested, conducting research, profitability analysis, coordination with outside vendors, working with multiple departments Main point of contact for Operations regarding insurance related questions, works with insurance agent to obtain coverage for non-standard loads, assists Accounting and Upper Management with yearly renewal, maintains customer insurance limits in McLeod Other duties as assigned Team Leadership & Mentorship Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to pricing analysts and support staff. Review and validate pricing work completed by the team to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with company strategy. Help establish best practices, pricing standards, and documentation processes. Support onboarding of new team members by sharing tools, methodologies, and market knowledge.

  • Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to pricing analysts and support staff.

  • 5 years of experience in transportation logistics operations
  • Advanced computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerBI, Adobe, customer web sites, keyboard proficiency)
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both oral and written
  • Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills
  • Experience maintaining professional and cooperative relationships with all internal and external customers
  • Experience working independently and making sound decisions under demanding time constraints
  • Experience performing under heavy demands while maintaining exceptional quality
  • Experience performing detail-oriented tasks

  • High School Diploma/GED equivalent
  • Bachelor’s Degree or minimum of 5 years of equivalent industry experience preferred
