About The Position

The Manager, Pricing Governance will play a critical role in driving pricing
compliance, governance, and realization across the organization. This role is
focused on establishing robust pricing controls, leading monthly price review
processes, and ensuring alignment with strategic pricing objectives. The ideal
candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, advanced skills in PowerBI and
Excel, and significant experience in pricing compliance within the building
materials or a related industry.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in a pricing-focused role, with a strong emphasis on compliance and governance.
• Demonstrated expertise in PowerBI and advanced Excel functions. SQL skills are a bonus.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-changing environment
• Exceptional communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to present complex data in a clear and actionable manner to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Price Governance & Compliance: Develop and implement governance frameworks to ensure pricing adherence and compliance with company policies. Establish and enforce controls to prevent deviations from approved pricing plans and policies. Regularly assess and refine policies to adapt to changing market conditions and business objectives.
• Bid Management: Responsible for ensuring the bid submission outlines all timeframes, estimated costs, service information and the agreed outcome
• Commodity cost related price adjustments: Responsible to work with procurement teams to ensure pricing is fully in line with cost adjustments
• Price Realization: Analyze pricing performance against set targets and contribute to strategies that drive price realization across product categories.
• Monthly Price Review Process: Lead the establishment and execution of a structured monthly price review process, identifying opportunities for pricing adjustments and improvements.
• KPI Development & Reporting: Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to pricing performance and compliance.
• Executive Communication: Prepare clear and concise presentations and reports for executive leadership, translating complex pricing analytics into actionable insights.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Finance, and Product Management teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives.
• Documentation: Document and maintain latest pricing policies.
