About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Manager of Pricing to lead and support strategic pricing opportunities for government and commercial programs. You will leverage deep expertise in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) compliance, cost principles, and XaaS-based contracting, combined with strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and end-item development. You will oversee the development of competitive cost strategies that integrate commercial and product pricing methodologies with all requirements. This position is critical for ensuring pricing integrity, supporting negotiations, and driving profitability across complex programs.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in pricing, cost estimating, or fields developing proposals across all major contract types
  • 5+ years of experience leading a pricing function, including recruiting, developing, and retaining professional staff
  • 3+ years of experience developing commercial pricing strategies, methodologies, and solution-based pricing models, including as-a-Service and outcomes-based
  • Experience across all aspects of price and cost proposal development, including risk, compliance, and estimating practices
  • Experience in leveraging and adapting complex pricing and estimating tools
  • Experience delivering pricing strategy briefings, analyses, and training to senior leaders
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment and execute strategic initiatives
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

  • Lead cost strategy development for major proposals and programs, ensuring compliance with FAR, DFARS, CAS, and internal policies.
  • Oversee cost modeling and analysis for manufacturing and end-item development, including labor, materials, tooling, and sustainment costs.
  • Develop and analyze key financial metrics and provide executive-level guidance on pricing approaches for services-based and product lifecycle contracts.
  • Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, finance, contracts, legal and program management to validate pricing assumptions and ensure accuracy.
  • Develop and review cost narratives, compliance documentation, and audit-ready pricing packages for government and commercial submissions.
  • Drive competitive analysis and market benchmarking to align commercial pricing strategies with regulatory requirements.
  • Support executive negotiations and provide pricing insights for business development and capture teams.
  • Mentor and develop pricing team members, fostering expertise in compliance and strategic pricing.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and implement best practices to maintain pricing excellence and audit readiness.
