The Job: As a Pricing Excellence Leader, you’ll be part of our Pricing team working as a hybrid employee. You’ll get to: Partner with the VP of Global Pricing for Tools & Outdoor and provide thought leadership and drive the development, implementation, and governance of pricing tools, systems, analytics, models, and processes across the organization. Act as a change agent and strategic partner, championing Pricing Excellence, fostering cross-functional synergies, and maintaining a strong customer and end user focus to achieve profitable market share growth. Instrumental in defining and driving consistent pricing metrics, developing robust pricing models, and leading the agenda to achieve pricing objectives across the organization. Ensure cohesive partnership and alignment between Brand Pricing Leaders (Strategy Team) and Regional Teams (Execution Team) to deliver consistent and effective execution of pricing strategies and objectives. Advise and partner with the VP of Global Pricing to define and prioritize pricing initiatives that drive profitable market share growth and customer/end user value. Champion Pricing Excellence by implementing best-in-class pricing practices, processes, models, and capabilities. Define, implement, and drive consistent pricing metrics, standards, and KPIs across the organization to ensure alignment and transparency in pricing performance. Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of pricing analytics tools, dashboards, and pricing models for data-driven decision-making. Collaborate with the Pricing Analytics team to translate business needs into actionable analytics, models, and tools, reflecting customer and end user perspectives. Develop and maintain global pricing policies, procedures, and governance frameworks. Oversee and optimize pricing-related processes, including price setting, tracking, optimization, Delegation of Authority (DOA) management, and pricing model validation. Partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Channels, and Category Management teams to integrate pricing strategies, models, and tools with broader business initiatives. Ensure cohesive partnership and alignment between Brand Pricing Leaders (Strategy Team) and Regional Teams (Execution Team) to deliver consistent and effective execution of pricing strategies and objectives. Act as a change agent, driving synergies and fostering collaboration across teams to embed a culture of Pricing Excellence and continuous improvement. Drive the agenda for achieving pricing objectives, ensuring all pricing activities, models, and strategies are aligned with organizational goals and deliver measurable results. Monitor, analyze, and report on key pricing metrics, including price elasticity, competitive positioning, customer behavior, market share trends, and profitability. Champion standardized processes, metrics, models, and analytics for pricing effectiveness and operational excellence. Provide training and support on pricing strategies, models, policies, and tools to global teams, emphasizing customer and end user impact. Ensure visibility, accuracy, and tracking of cost, gross-to-net, RSAs (Retail Sales Allowances), discounts, and other key pricing data. Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in pricing, modeling, and analytics, with a focus on evolving customer and end user needs. Define and implement metrics for promotional effectiveness, ensuring data-driven evaluation and optimization of promotional strategies. Lead and support Revenue Growth Management (RGM) initiatives, developing tools and processes that drive sustainable top-line growth through pricing, promotion, mix, and trade investment optimization. You also have: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of experience in pricing, strategy, finance, or related field, with a proven track record of driving strategic initiatives and cross-functional collaboration, including several years in a leadership or director-level role. Demonstrated experience in pricing analytics, pricing model development and optimization, financial modeling, and process improvement. Strong understanding of pricing methodologies, market dynamics, business strategy, and customer/end user value drivers. Exceptional communication, influence, and interpersonal skills; able to engage and align stakeholders at all levels. Proven leadership and project management skills, with the ability to drive change and deliver results in a complex, global environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other analytical tools; experience with pricing software, modeling tools, and data visualization platforms preferred. Strong storytelling skills with the ability to craft compelling presentations that communicate pricing strategies, models, insights, and value to diverse audiences, including customers and end users. Demonstrated ability to act as a change agent, driving Pricing Excellence and fostering collaboration and synergies across teams. Experience in defining and measuring metrics for promotional effectiveness. Direct experience with consumer goods promotions and understanding of their impact on volume lift and profitability. Proven experience in Revenue Growth Management (RGM), including strategy development, execution, and measurement across pricing, promotion, and product mix. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
