About The Position

We're looking for a detail-driven, analytical professional who thrives at the intersection of data, manufacturing, and strategy. As a Pricing & Estimating Representative, you will play a critical role in shaping profitable growth by developing accurate, competitive pricing and cost estimates from initial concept through production. In this role, you'll partner closely with design, production, and sales teams to translate technical requirements into clear, data-backed pricing strategies. You'll evaluate materials, tooling, and production variables across multiple locations to build comprehensive cost models, while continuously monitoring and refining pricing to reflect market conditions and business objectives. Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Experience in manufacturing environment is desired.
  • Extensive understanding or the willingness to learn the PI processes.
  • Willingness to grow and adapt.
  • Flexibility and an ongoing sense of urgency is a must.
  • Attention to detail is critical.
  • Must love numbers.
  • post-high school education with emphasis on advanced math and business courses.

Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly understand the PI process from design concept to shipment.
  • Review part and tool information with Design and Production teams.
  • Lays out tools and accurately captures tool build costs.
  • Evaluate and apply the unique requirements for customers.
  • Understand and apply appropriate costs of various materials and production locations.
  • Monitor costs and update pricing as required.
  • Work with sales and the management team to implement strategic pricing initiatives.
  • Write accurate quotes that are consistent with the corporate aesthetic.
  • Complete quotes in a timely manner.
  • Provide data to sales to support the effects of price changes on the customer.
