About The Position

Mimecast is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pricing and Business Strategy Analyst to join our Pricing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in analytics, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration within a leading cybersecurity company. This position is a key part of the Mimecast Pricing team providing analytics, financial modeling and operational support to the pricing and GTM teams As a Pricing and Business Strategy Analyst at Mimecast, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our pricing strategy and helping drive business growth. Reporting directly to the Director of Pricing and Business Strategy, you will partner closely with the Pricing and Go-To-Market (GTM) teams, leveraging advanced data analysis, reporting, and process improvement initiatives to deliver actionable insights and operational excellence. This highly visible, cross-functional position offers you the opportunity to collaborate with senior leaders across multiple departments, influence key business decisions, and contribute to developing best-in-class pricing processes that drive revenue and profitability. You'll gain hands-on exposure to innovative SaaS pricing strategies and have a direct impact on our commercial success in a dynamic, high-growth environment. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets; financial modeling experience and familiarity with data analysis tools is a plus
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter that excels at partnerships with all functions of the business
  • Demonstrated communication skillset (written and verbal)
  • Great personal skills - you will be meeting with colleagues of all levels and in varied departments of the company
  • Strong professional work ethic and extremely high integrity

  • Basic understanding of various pricing models

Responsibilities

  • Collect, organize, and analyze data related to sales, pricing, and business performance ensuring timely delivery of key performance metrics and insights to leadership.
  • Maintain and contribute to leveling up incumbent processes to deliver pricing to global GTM and Partner teams
  • Maintain and contribute to optimizing existing financial models to support strong decision making
  • Ensure all pricing activities are communicated to the relevant functions in a timely and efficient manner
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various levels of the organization
