About The Position

As the Pricing and Business Analyst, you will help implement pricing strategies and managing customer pricing. You will also deliver insightful reporting to support commercial decisions and guide profitability improvements for the Protective & Marine Coating USCA Pricing team. You will collaborate with teams to ensure pricing accuracy and effectiveness. You will report to the Senior Pricing Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Marketing, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Up to 3 years of relevant experience in analytics, with B2B pricing experience considered.
  • Interpret complex data
  • Translate data into applicable business insights
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to manage complex spreadsheets and analyze diverse data sources.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with SAP, PowerBI, and Quotation Manager.
  • Experience in the coatings industry is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer and price list pricing within systems such as Quotation Manager and SAP, ensuring timely and accurate data entry.
  • Develop regular pricing reports to support business insights.
  • Develop and deliver dashboards, reports, and insights to support decision-making across Product Management, Sales, Planning, and Leadership.
  • Oversee manual pricing report processes for monthly and periodic audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Maintain workflows for new product pricing and pricing updates, applying internal analysis, market trends, and competitor pricing strategies.
  • Monitor pricing performance through regular reviews, identifying opportunities to improve pricing strategies.
  • Provide guidance to sales teams on pricing negotiations, discount approvals, and deal structuring.
  • Foster relationships with commercial and marketing teams to align pricing projects with goals.
