About The Position

We are seeking a data-driven and business-minded Pricing Analyst to support the development, maintenance, and execution of pricing strategies that drive profitable growth across our steel framing product lines. You’ll analyze costs, market trends, and customer behavior to ensure our pricing aligns with both market competitiveness and internal margin goals. This role is ideal for someone who loves turning data into actionable insights – and who understands how pricing decisions directly influence manufacturing profitability. The Pricing Analyst will play a key role in pricing analysis, regional pricing support, competitive intelligence, discount governance, and sales enablement—serving as a subject-matter expert while influencing pricing decisions across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, revenue management, or cost modeling.
  • Strong analytical experience supporting pricing strategies in a B2B environment.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience working with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Solid understanding of pricing methodologies (value-based, cost-plus, competitive-based).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders through data.
  • Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational discipline
  • Proactive and comfortable working in ambiguous environments
  • Strong collaborator with Finance, Sales, and Marketing
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Manufacturing (roll forming strongly preferred).
  • Experience supporting multi-region or global pricing organizations.
  • Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze pricing performance across products, customers, and regions to identify opportunities for margin improvement.
  • Support regional pricing strategies by analyzing local market dynamics, customer behavior, regulatory factors, and competitive conditions.
  • Partner with regional sales and leadership teams to ensure pricing recommendations are practical and aligned with market realities.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of competitor pricing, discounting behavior, and value propositions.
  • Maintain competitive pricing insights and contribute to pricing recommendations that protect margin and market share.
  • Develop and maintain pricing tools, calculators, and analytical models to support sales decision-making.
  • Assist with pricing training and documentation to support consistent sales execution.
  • Assist with deal review and approval processes, ensuring discounts and special pricing align with company guidelines
  • Participate in pricing policy reviews and continuous improvement initiatives for pricing governance and data accuracy.
  • Monitor compliance with pricing policies and flag risks or deviations for leadership review.
