About The Position

Brady Corporation is seeking a Pricing Analyst who will support the Pricing Manager with analysis, insight and implementation of category pricing strategies for an assigned set of products, while also identifying opportunities for revenue and profit optimization. Develop, implement and review the pricing strategy for the category in collaboration with the Product Management and Sales Teams. This position will have responsibility for understanding financial transactions; analysis, reporting, data entry and maintenance for contract/price assurance activity; and monitoring usage, performance, and expirations of special pricing programs. This role presents an opportunity to contribute to the overall profitability of the business by supporting our sales and channel teams with pricing analysis and timely insights on product line performance. Creativity, urgency, and a service mindset will help the right candidate be successful in this position.

Requirements

  • Responsible for analyzing price performance data and generating insights.
  • Evaluate special pricing requests based on Product Management and Sales guidelines to ensure maximum profitability.
  • Create and maintain special pricing conditions within SAP as documented in Contracts and Price Assurances.
  • Establish a good working relationship with Customer Service, Sales, Channel, Global Product Management, and Product Marketing teams.
  • Establish and document processes and procedures relative to pricing analytics.
  • Collaborate with peers to assist in the definition, maintenance and implementation of cross-functional process improvements.
  • Report on pricing/margin performance by product line as determined by product and industry marketing.

  • Manage Product Lifecycle pricing.

  • Maximize revenue and profit through the application of strategic pricing levers and revenue management techniques.
  • Perform competitive analysis and report on Competitive Price metrics across the business
  • Support cross functional pricing initiatives
