About The Position

Under the Senior Coordinator’s supervision, the Prevention Coordinator creates and Implements the Hudson County Community Action Plan; serves as county representative for the New Jersey Coalition Against Sexual Assault committee on sexual violence prevention. Coordinates scheduling for the program Manages inventory of supplies Tracks and monitors program activities Provides services to clients as needed and receives appropriate supervision and training from supervisor Maintains facility, personnel files, manuals, and safety of equipment to the Joint Commission standards Prepares contracts and letters of agreement Maintains positive working relationship with the appropriate funders and takes a lead role in all relevant funding site visits Prepares reports as required by funders, hospital and other regulatory agencies Participates in department and staff meetings as required. Works with management and grants staff as needed on all necessary program and fiscal reports relevant to the program Assists with other functions and responsibilities as required by management staff Organize and staff agency booths and tables at local community events such as fairs, community days, open houses, etc.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Education, Social Work, Public Relations, Sociology, Psychology, Women's Studies or related field required.
  • 2-4 years related experience
