About The Position

At Selah Freedom, we are dedicated to ending sex trafficking and bringing freedom to the exploited. From prevention and outreach to safe housing and education, our programs serve youth and survivors across the Midwest and Southeast regions of the U.S. As a Prevention Advocate, you will be on the frontlines of educating and empowering youth and adults to recognize, resist, and prevent exploitation. Your role will involve delivering powerful presentations, managing community relationships, and tracking outreach impact in the Tampa Bay area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Passion for youth education and advocacy.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to travel locally.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with survivors of sexual exploitation or human trafficking (preferred).
  • Clean driving record (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate exploitation prevention trainings for K-12 students and adults.
  • Coordinate and schedule trainings in schools, nonprofits, churches, and community groups.
  • Build and manage relationships with community partners.
  • Collect and report outreach data as outlined in the Prevention Manual.
  • Participate in team meetings and assist with special projects.
