About The Position

SUMMARY Installs, inspects, repairs, and maintains food service kitchen equipment, which includes convection ovens, combo ovens, dish machines, booster heaters, warmers, carts, rolling racks. Conducts preventative maintenance on reach-in and wwalk-in refrigeratros. Cleans condenser and evaporator coils, drains, checking compressor cooling fans.

Requirements

Three (3) years' experience in food service cooking and/or low temperature refrigeration equipment repair and maintenance.
Completion of or enrolled in a recognized trade training program in a related field or equivalent.
Knowledge of applicable County, State, and Federal electrical, safety, plumbing, and mechanical codes.
Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.
FBI fingerprint background check.
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
Post-offer/pre-employment physical examination and lift test.
Must hold a current Arizona Driver’s license and have accrued no more than the allowable points against Driver’s License as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees.
