Please note: this is a field position scheduled for preventative maintenance on machines at customer worksites- must have a valid driver's license, Medical DOT card and ability to operate a company field truck. As a PM Technician, you will be working out at customer locations (with occasional work required outside in varying weather conditions) to repair, conduct maintenance, and address any customer concerns or questions regarding equipment. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience. Must have experience as a lube technician working with comparable equipment.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to be insured on company policy. Must have a valid Medical DOT card.
  • Strong communication skills and basic computer skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Must have basic tools to perform service and minor repairs.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, maintain, and service heavy equipment.
  • Order parts and keep Lube truck stocked with oils and filters.
  • Prepare accurate inspection and service reports and maintain other records as required.
  • Complete oil and filter services within James River Equipment’s SPG’s and service estimates.
  • Keep work areas clean and orderly.
  • Work in a safe manner and comply with customers’ site specific policies.
  • Comply with company policies and government regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
