Applied Training Solutions, LLC (ATS) is developing a team of Subject Matter Experts (SME) to conduct Higher Headquarters Assessments for US Army Installations on behalf of US Army Installation Management Command (IMCOM). The team will conduct assessments of all components of the installation's Protection programs using the DoD Benchmarks, plus applicable Army, Combatant Command (COCOM), Service Component Command, and IMCOM applicable requirements. As a part of that effort, the Prev Med Specialist will provide pandemic illness/disease expertise, food defense, and water defense expertise, analyze and assess the conditions and demographics that may lead to or enable the spread of disease or illness across populations, examine and assess food processing, production, transportation, supply chain traceability, storage, preparation, service and consumption to identify risk that may affect Protection, examine and assess water supply networks to include raw water sources, treatment infrastructure and distribution systems, and identify Protection risk and make course of action recommendations to reduce risk. This also includes Medical and public health activities and measures that identify, prepare for, and respond to health hazards and emergencies, resulting in Army mission accomplishment and protection of the Army Family, including advanced pattern detection and prediction modeling to identify health conditions that differ from pre and post-deployment across military service men and women. This opportunity will develop computer vision models to accelerate the discovery of health outcomes related to deployment status and/or trauma effects on solider readiness, while reducing resource burden associated with traditional analysis and review processes
