About The Position
Under the direction of the Coordinator, the Infection Preventionist specializes in preventing, managing, and investigating infections in Butler Memorial Hospital and Clarion Hospital. Observes and monitors clinical practices for inpatients and outpatients to maintain patient safety and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Registered Nurse Program
- Current PA RN license and Act 33/73 clearances
- Three years recent clinical experience
- Microsoft Excel skills
- Leadership skills to lead teams in performance improvement in Infection Prevention and Control
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor Degree in Nursing
- Certification in Infection Control (CIC)
- Previous infection control experience
- Data management/analysis experience
