Wieland is hiring a Pressure Vessel Welders Level I, II, III . The Pressure Vessel Welder will be responsible for working from shop drawing, procedures or other written, verbal, or electronic instruction, perform a wide variety of operations associated with welded assembly of final product, sub-assemblies and components for products which includes adherence to ASME Code Safety Regulations. This role is located in Delaware, OH and will be fully on-site. Starting Pay: $27.23/hr., with compensation adjusted based on experience and qualifications. Schedule: 2nd shift Monday - Thursday (4:00pm - 2:30am) Training will be on 1st Shift (2-4 weeks) Monday – Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm Pay Schedule: Biweekly
Requirements
- At least 1-3 year(s) experience or commensurate education from trade school.
- Capable of MIG and TIG welding of parts and pipe, but not yet certified with the company for welding of parts under pressure.
- Ability to read and apply WPS, read drawings.
- Strong aptitude for problem solving and teamwork.
- Methodical, organized, and precise.
- Proactive in proposing solutions.
Responsibilities
- Follow the production orders, prepare parts and weld components into assemblies.
- Execute welds in accordance with company`s procedures and documents, while meeting defined quality standards.
- Maintain a safe and organized working environment.
- Properly maintain tools and equipment assigned to perform duties.
- Identify and implement safety improvements.
