About The Position

We are currently looking for a Flexographic Press Operator who will be responsible for operating various printing presses to produce products that meet customer specific requirements. This position is responsible for the production of valuable, defect-free products that meet or exceed our customer's expectations. The operator will be successful in this position by executing standard work and adhering to all company policies.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate various flexographic printing presses.
Maintain safe working conditions in the department
Maintain and service mechanical aspects of the press to ensure optimum running conditions
Operate, adjust and troubleshoot the press to meet or exceed production standards
Perform in-process inspection
Check material and print quality and ensure quality guidelines are met
Minimize waste within allowed limits (or less)
Maintain a clean work area including printing press and components
Complete daily production documentation
Follow detailed written product specifications
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Cross train in other departments & equipment
Support Lean Daily Management & Key Performance Indicator tracking
Adhere to Brady's Attendance, Safety & other Company policies
Maintain accurate paperwork, labeling, packaging and material transactions.
All other duties as assigned
