About The Position

[Company Name] is seeking an experienced Metal Stamping Press Operator to join our team for both 1st and 2nd shift openings. The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating and setting up metal stamping presses, specifically with a 1600 ton press and Fanuc robot transfers. This position will involve stamping large John Deere combine parts on the press. This is a permanent opportunity at one of our customers in Springfield, OH.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating metal stamping presses
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Willingness to work 1st or 2nd shift as needed

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Fanuc robot transfers preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up the 1600 ton press with Fanuc robot transfers
• Ensure the quality of stamped parts meets company standards
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments
• Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production
• Collaborate with Maintenance team for major repairs or malfunctions
• Complete required production documentation accurately and in a timely manner
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures
