About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Press Operator Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role supports our press operators and helps ensure smooth production operations.
Requirements
- Ability to read and understand work instructions in English.
- Familiarity with measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and rulers.
- Strong basic math skills.
- Effective verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays as needed.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Nice To Haves
- 1–3 years of manufacturing experience preferred (not required)
Responsibilities
- Assist Press Operators with daily production tasks.
- Retrieve and organize materials, inks, printing plates, and cutting dies.
- Mount printing plates and assist with machine setup.
- Communicate effectively with press operators and supervisors.
- Drive a company vehicle to make short-run deliveries to our other facilities.
- Perform general maintenance, housekeeping, and additional duties as needed.
