About The Position

We are seeking a Press Helper for our Louisville manufacturing facility. A Press Helper is responsible for all activities associated with supporting the Press Department with print design set up, operation, clean up, and staging materials.

Requirements

High School diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma.
Flexibility to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as needed.
Basic mechanical skills.
Basic math and organizational skills.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with Printing Press in manufacturing environment preferred.
Forklift certification a plus.
Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

Must become familiar with technical aspects of the press and be able to assist troubleshoot printing issues.
Must comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety, quality, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Prepping roll stocks to load into the printing press.
Preparing finished rolls for inventory.
Responsible for complete and efficient print changeovers.
Responsible for inspection and maintenance of printing equipment.
Ability to operate material handling equipment.
Other duties as assigned.
