We’re looking for a motivated Press Helper on our 2nd shift to help keep our printing presses running smoothly and ensure our products meet the highest quality standards.

Requirements

A team player with great attention to detail.
Someone who can stay organized and focused in a busy environment.
Willingness to learn and take initiative.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to operate press without supervision
3+ years prior production machine operating experience
Must be able to identify colors and imperfections
Must display excellent work habits willingness to be a team player
Proven track record in waste reduction and profit improvement
Must have strong analytical skills independent thinking and written and verbal communications skills

Responsibilities

Support the daily operation of web presses and ensure smooth production flow.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized press area.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure materials like ink, paper, and plates are ready to go.
Assist in quality checks — inspecting printed materials for accuracy in color, registration, and specifications every 15 minutes.
Step in to run the press when the operator is on breaks, lunches, or PTO.
Help with setup and maintenance tasks such as washing blankets, plates, and fountains.
Prepare and load roll stock for printing and inspect rolls for defects.
Accurately record production data, materials used, and downtime.
Perform light preventive maintenance and keep equipment ready for the next run.
Safely move materials and finished products (up to 50 lbs) as needed.
Participate in training and cross-training opportunities to expand your skills.
