Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
2–5 years of press brake operating experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment preferred.
Experience working with sheet metal, steel plate, or structural components.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Basic math skills including measurements, angles, and tolerances.
Experience using precision measuring instruments.

Nice To Haves

Experience operating CNC press brake equipment.
Knowledge of bend allowances, tooling selection, and metal forming techniques.
Previous experience in heavy fabrication or enclosure manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain the press brake machine to bend, shape, and form metal parts.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions to determine bending requirements.
Set up and calibrate the press brake machine, ensuring proper settings for each project.
Monitor the bending process to ensure the accuracy and quality of the parts produced.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on the press brake and related equipment.
Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols and procedures.
Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
Work overtime as required.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
