The Office of Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Youngstown invites applications for the position of President of Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School in Youngstown, Ohio. Cardinal Mooney has a rich history, and an established alumni base in the community. The next president will lead a talented staff to deliver the mission of the school to new generations of students. About Cardinal Mooney: Cardinal Mooney is a Catholic, co-education college-preparatory community known for its commitment to three core values: Scholarship, Sanctity, and Discipline. Founded in 1956, the school has served generations of students in Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley. Currently educating approximately 350 students in grades nine through twelve, enrollment has grown steadily over the past four years through conscientious and intentional leadership. Grounded in the teachings of Jesus Christ, the school is committed to educating the whole person, body, mind, and spirit. Position Summary: Cardinal Mooney High School is seeking a mission-driven leader for its next chapter of outstanding Catholic education. The President reports to the Board of Directors with primary responsibility for stakeholder engagement, financial stewardship and development, and implementation of the school’s strategic vision. The President partners closely with the Principal who oversees the school's daily operations and the teaching and learning environment. The ideal candidate will be a faithful Catholic with a deep commitment to the school's faith-based identity and mission. We seek a results-oriented leader with proven experience in advancement and development, strategic growth, and financial stewardship in mission-driven organizations. The successful candidate will build upon Cardinal Mooney's recent enrollment growth and momentum to strengthen the school's position as a premier Catholic educational institution in the region.

Requirements

Practicing Catholic in good standing
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
Minimum 5-7 years of leadership experience in education, nonprofit, or mission-driven organizations with relevant corporate experience welcomed
Demonstrated success in fundraising, donor relations, and financial management
