About The Position
The Prescription Refill Representative is a clinical position that assists in all aspects of processing prescription refill authorization requests. Under the supervision of pharmacy services and working within established protocols, the Prescription Refill Representative acts as an agent for the provider to authorize prescription refills. This position plays a key role in maintaining a high level of patient satisfaction by providing patients with exceptional customer service and serving as the liaison between patients, physicians and pharmacies. Requirements
- Upon hire: National Certified Pharmacy Technician - National Healthcareer Association OR Upon hire: National Certified Pharmacy Technician - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board
- 3 years as a Pharmacy Technician.
