Preschool Teacher - Part Time
About The Position
Make a meaningful impact every day by supporting young learners as they grow, explore, and develop in a safe, nurturing classroom environment. Community First Solutions is seeking a Preschool Teacher to join our team at the Colonial School in Hamilton, Ohio. In this role, you’ll help create a positive, engaging, and enriching atmosphere where children can develop socially, emotionally, and intellectually through play and guided learning. This position is ideal for someone who is caring, patient, team-oriented, and passionate about early childhood education.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children or in an educational or childcare setting preferred
- High school diploma plus 45 in-service hours in Early Childhood Development over a three-year period
- Caring, patient, and nurturing with a genuine love for working with children
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teachers and families
- Reliable, organized, and able to multitask in a classroom environment
- Willingness to learn, grow, and participate in ongoing training
- Completion of 10 hours of approved Step Up To Quality training annually
- Ability to follow ODJFS licensing rules and school guidelines
- Child Development (CD) classes must be renewed every 3 years
Nice To Haves
- Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
