The Learning Experience – River Vale is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Our preschool classrooms provide a warm, playful, and developmentally rich environment where children learn through hands-on exploration and discovery. Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting preferred.
Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
Reliable, patient, and passionate about working with preschool-age children.

Nice To Haves

CDA or Early Childhood coursework a plus (not required).
CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging preschool classroom environment.
Support learning through play, circle time, art, early literacy, and age-appropriate activities.
Foster social-emotional development and positive peer interactions.
Communicate with families daily about classroom experiences and progress.
Maintain a clean, organized classroom that supports learning and independence.
Ensure compliance with all New Jersey childcare licensing regulations.
