About The Position
Mt. Juliet Christian Academy, as a ministry of First Baptist Church Mt. Juliet, is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced preschool educator. The preschool teacher at Mt. Juliet Christian Academy plays a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our young learners. Responsible for fostering a positive and engaging learning environment, the Elementary School Teacher ensures the holistic development of students academically, socially, and emotionally. Through innovative teaching methods and compassionate guidance, the preschool teacher instills a love for learning, nurtures curiosity, and prepares students for future academic success while nurturing their spiritual growth. Requirements
- Understanding of the characteristics and development of young children.
- Active in a local church and a loving, developing relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Commitment to Christian values and the mission of First Baptist Church Mt. Juliet and Mt. Juliet Christian Academy.
- Previous experience working with young children
- Knowledge of early childhood development theories and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with young children and their families
- Must pass criminal background check, fingerprinting, submit a physical exam and clearance from medical provider
