A preschool teacher plays a vital role in early childhood education. This role involves fostering a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where young children can explore, learn, and grow socially, emotionally, and academically.

Requirements

Evidence of a genuine and active Christian lifestyle
Demonstrates an understanding of the purpose of Christian Education
Proficient teaching skills in a preschool environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to design engaging and innovative lessons and activities
Ability to multitask and effectively lead a classroom
Ability to address behavioral or development challenges with appropriate strategies
Collaborates effectively with a team of teachers
Embraces a growth mindset
CDA, AA in early childhood education
DCF 45 hours certification
Staff credentialing through DCF
Background screening
U.S. citizenship is a must
