About The Position

Jesuit Dallas is seeking a qualified and passionate educator to teach high school Biology in a Catholic all-male setting. This teacher will be expected to: Form and educate young men to be open to growth, intellectually competent, loving, religious, committed to working for justice and physically fit. Teach five sections of Biology or other Life Sciences courses such as Anatomy and Physiology. Serve as a contributing member of the Science Department. Work collaboratively with course level teams on lesson planning, assessment design, and grading. Participate in all departmental and school-wide faculty formation. Participate in student-centered co-curricular, extra-curricular, service, and/or retreat opportunities.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Biology or a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience teaching in a Standards Aligned Curriculum preferred.
  • Ability to coach high school athletics preferred.
