About The Position

Under the general supervision of the Preschool Director and School Principal, the preschool teacher will provide exceptional instruction to one class of 4 year old students 3 mornings a week (Tues/Thurs/Fri) from 8:35 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and perform other teacher-minister responsibilities for St. Francis Xavier School Little Sailors Preschool. The teacher will facilitate student success and growth in academic and interpersonal skills through implementing Diocese of Cleveland/Ohio Department of Education approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific educational needs of individual students and by creating a flexible, safe and optimal learning environment; and providing feedback to students, parents, and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc. The classroom has an educational aide.
