Preschool Shuttle Bus Driver
About The Position
The Children’s Center Utah is seeking a friendly, responsible Bus Driver for our Therapeutic Preschool Program. This position will drive preschool-aged children with emotional and behavioral challenges to and from our center. NO CDL REQUIRED. We offer a range of services based upon the mental health needs of each child and family, including outpatient family and group therapy, and therapeutic preschool services. Our expertise is sought after by professionals from throughout the nation. We are committed to excellence. We strive for best-in-class. Schedule Full-time, approximately 35 hours/week. Schedule is between the hours of 7:00 am – 5:00 pm, (Split Shift) Monday – Friday
Requirements
- Similar driving experience preferred, No CDL Required
- 21 years or older
- Clean driving record with no DUIs (Motor Vehicle Records will be checked.)
- Ability to pass a background screening
- Ability to climb up and down stairs and look under bus seats
- Experience working with children is preferred
- Must be a dependable, patient individual who enjoys working with children and their families
- Team and service focus paramount
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) communication skills helpful
Responsibilities
- Safely transport preschool children to and from The Children’s Center Utah
- Assist the Transportation Supervisor with other tasks as assigned
- Work cooperatively with extremely talented and dedicated staff
