The Preschool Mandarin Teacher is an excellent opportunity to be part of a team that will develop and implement an instruction plan for young students in our Preschool and Pre-K classrooms, emphasizing vocabulary, listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

Requirements

  • Twelve post-secondary semester or equivalent quarter units in Early Childhood Education or related field at an accredited college or university
  • Six months or more experience working in a childcare center or program
  • Must be fluent in both Mandarin and English language
  • Must be able to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, supervise, and implement the Mandarin curriculum in multiple classroom environments as a floater teacher
  • Maintain the Mandarin curriculum and materials at your school
  • Collaborate with other faculty and staff members
  • Communicate regularly with parents, school leaders, and other staff as appropriate
