About The Position
The Learning Experience – Ramsey is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Lead Preschool Teacher to guide a classroom of preschool-aged learners in a structured, engaging early education setting. This position focuses on supporting kindergarten readiness through hands-on activities, consistent routines, and positive classroom leadership. Our preschool program helps children strengthen communication, independence, and early academic confidence while learning through purposeful play.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood classroom preferred
- Strong teamwork and classroom management skills
- Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices helpful
- Must meet New Jersey childcare licensing requirements
Responsibilities
- Lead daily classroom activities in a safe and supportive learning environment
- Deliver lessons aligned with the L.E.A.P. curriculum and developmental milestones
- Support children during centers, transitions, meals, and rest periods
- Encourage cooperation, problem-solving, and social-emotional growth
- Maintain classroom organization and licensing compliance standards
- Partner with families through regular communication and updates
- Collaborate with assistant teachers and leadership to maintain program quality
