About The Position

First Years Preschool – Instructional Assistant (Part-Time) Weekday Early Education | Church Preschool First Years Preschool is a Christ-centered, part-time program seeking a caring and dependable Instructional Assistant to support teachers and students in a nurturing environment. Hours: 8:30 AM–1:15 PM (10-month school year) Days: Vary, depending on positions available at time of hiring

Requirements

• Committed Christian with positive values
• High school diploma (required)
• Energetic and able to engage with young children
• Willing to complete DCF training and background screening

Responsibilities

• Assist with classroom activities and routines
• Support children individually or in small groups
• Help maintain a safe, Christ-centered environment
• Supervise students (classroom/playground)
• Assist with arrival/dismissal and classroom organization
• Attend meetings and trainings
