About The Position

Preschool / 3K Lead Teacher - The Learning Experience Hudson Yards Location: The Learning Experience - Hudson Yards, New York, NY Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday Pay: $25-$28 per hour (based on education and experience) About The Learning Experience The Learning Experience - Hudson Yards is seeking a passionate and experienced Preschool / 3K Lead Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Our 3K classroom provides a nurturing, play-based environment that fosters confidence, curiosity, and school readiness for children ages 3-4. We proudly partner with New York City's 3-K for All initiative, delivering developmentally appropriate instruction in alignment with NYC DOE and DOHMH standards.

Requirements

Must meet NYC DOHMH Group Teacher qualifications, including one of the following:
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, or
Associate degree in ECE and two years of classroom experience, or
CDA credential and three years of preschool classroom experience.
Minimum 1 year of classroom teaching experience required.
Must meet all NYC DOHMH childcare licensing standards.

Nice To Haves

NYS Teaching Certification (Birth-Grade 2) or active study plan preferred.
CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Create a warm, inclusive classroom where children thrive academically and emotionally.
Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with Creative Curriculum and DOE 3-K learning standards.
Support social-emotional growth through individualized attention and positive reinforcement.
Build strong relationships with families through daily communication and progress updates.
Collaborate with co-teachers and leadership to ensure compliance with DOE and licensing requirements.
