About The Position

The Prep Cook will be responsible for preparing food items for cooking, assembling dishes for cooking, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Requirements

Experience as a Prep Cook or similar role in a scratch kitchen
Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

Culinary degree or diploma
Experience in a brunch restaurant or similar setting
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays (7am-3pm)

Responsibilities

Prepare food items for cooking, such as chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and marinating meats
Assemble dishes for cooking, such as measuring and mixing ingredients
Follow recipes and guidelines provided by the Head Chef
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Restock ingredients and supplies as needed
Collaborate with other kitchen staff members to ensure timely and efficient service
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
