About The Position

Dublin Post Acute is seeking a reliable and motivated Prep Cook to join our dietary team. This role is essential in preparing nutritious, high-quality meals for our residents in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Requirements

  • Previous kitchen or prep cook experience preferred (healthcare or senior living a plus)
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (ServSafe preferred)
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Must be dependable and able to work scheduled shifts

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and portion food according to recipes and dietary guidelines
  • Assist with meal service for residents
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and prep areas
  • Follow food safety and infection control standards
  • Work closely with dietary staff and nursing team
  • Ensure meals meet residents’ dietary restrictions and needs
