Requirements

• No Degree or any other education earned (Required)
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Food Service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes a wide range of kitchen tools, equipment, and utensils.
• Performs washing, cutting, chopping, measuring of ingredients, and other tasks as requested by the Executive Chef.
• Supports the production of meals for distribution to patients, the cafeteria, physicians and catering services.
• Adheres to all HACCP guidelines regarding the requisition, storage, handling and preparation of food as well as in the sanitation and maintenance of work area.
