What You’ll Do Maintain Freshness: Inspect food and ingredients for quality, ensuring proper rotation of stock to maintain freshness. Follow Standards: Adhere to the restaurant’s cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies to ensure consistency and excellence. Support Service: Stock and maintain appropriate levels of food products at line stations for a smooth service period. Prepare Ingredients: Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes, using various kitchen utensils and equipment. Cook with Care: Bake, roast, fry, and grill a variety of meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods as needed. Ensure Cleanliness: Keep food preparation areas, equipment, and work surfaces clean and sanitary for proper food handling. Close with Confidence: Maintain a clean work area and complete closing duties as outlined in the kitchen checklist. Collaborate & Improve: Attend employee meetings, contribute suggestions for improvement, and support team initiatives. Requirements

  • Previous experience as a prep cook strongly preferred; must be confident with basic knife skills, station setup, and following prep lists with accuracy and efficiency. A passion for food, a strong work ethic, and culinary knowledge.
  • The ability to multitask while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Comfort performing physical tasks like bending, standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lbs during shifts.
  • The ability to work independently or follow specific directives with consistency.
  • A love for the food and hospitality industry and a genuine desire to support your team.
